The time is 1:58 am, and I have just finished a six or seven hour intense time working on final grades and posting them for students. A little bit ago, shortly after sending out an email to let them know everything was posted, I got the following from a chemical engineering student:
Dr. Wilson,
Thank you and all of the TAs for the work you put into this semester! I really enjoyed the PChem Lab experience and feel like I am much better equipped to write proper laboratory reports for the ChE Fundamentals Laboratory next semester.

Such expressions of gratitude are few and far between, and all the more precious because of it.
